My name is Kate, and I am the marketing manager at QuitK, where I also help with order fulfillments. When our founder first called me to join her team, I have to admit I had never even heard of kratom before. But then I began to notice that kratom was in fact being sold all over my town and I just had never realized it before. It seemed like every gas station and smoke shop sold kratom, and we even had a kratom/kava bar. I have learned so much since the launch of QuitK and I wanted to share some of the insights I've gained.
🚫 Kratom Regulation: I am genuinely shocked about kratom's lack of regulation after hearing so many heart wrenching stories about how horribly it has affected some of your lives. I now know this is a very addictive substance and it's concerning that most consumers are unaware of kratom's addictive properties when they first purchase it.🚫
💜The Supportive Quitting Kratom Community: The community of individuals who are quitting kratom or have quit is immense, with over 50,000 followers on Reddit, dedicated quitting kratom Facebook groups, the Kratom Sobriety podcast, helpers and educators on TikTok, etc.. I find this community to be very inclusive, and no matter where you are on your journey, the support is incredible. It seems like the people who have found their way through, truly come back to help others💜
🙇🏼♀️The Controversy: There is certainly controversy surrounding kratom, primarily regarding whether it helps individuals or not. I was surprised by the online arguments over it. 🙇🏼♀️
🍃The Withdrawal Process: Thankfully, I've never tried kratom and therefore have never experienced the withdrawals. I do hear first hand how hard they are for those in the throws of them though and pray I never have to experience it. Supporting those in the midst of their struggle and reminding them that we are here to listen has been a truly rewarding experience and I full heartedly believe that the QuitK supplement helps give people the extra push they need 🍃
I’m grateful for the vulnerability this community has shown and for how we've come together. Working in the wellness community and assisting those on their journey to quit kratom has been an amazing experience. I am thankful for all our customers and those working hard toward a kratom-free life. I'm rooting for you all!
